Clear Blue's fax database contains the fax numbers of over 1 million actively trading businesses in the UK.  All fax numbers are not only cleaned rigorously against the Fax Preference Service File, but all fax numbers belonging to sole traders and partnerships (except in Scotland) have also been removed, in accordance with current legislation..

Data structure

The following fields are supplied, as standard, for each record: Fax number.

Output formats

Data is supplied as either an ASCII comma-delimited text (.txt), Microsoft Excel (.xls), or Microsoft Access (.mdb) file, on floppy-disk, CD-Rom or via e-mail. We strongly recommend you choose the comma-delimited text format, as it is suitable for import into any spreadsheet, database or contact management software, as well as mail-merge and you may hold a different version of Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Access to us.

If you would like to test the different formats, you can download a sample database in each of the formats to try out with your software.

The 3 sample files are:

Delivery

Data is dispatched on floppy disk, CD-ROM or via e-mail; where we send you our list by e-mail, this is usually done the same day the order is placed; otherwise, please allow 1-2 working days from receipt of order.

Disks/CD-ROMs are sent by first class, recorded mail.

Terms & Conditions

All data is supplied for multiple use but must not be resold to a third party; if customers do not wish to pay with order, either through our secure server, or by cheque, Ziff Data are happy to dispatch the list to the customer with an invoice; where goods are supplied in this manner, payment must be made within 30 days of the supply of the data.
